Griffioen is a cozy classical restored passengerboat build in 1909. After her launch in Hamburg, she served as a passenger boat on various rivers and lakes in Switzerland. In 1964 she was seriously damaged in a collision and after repair she came back into service with a "modern structure". In 2002 we decided to strip the “modern structure” and gave her an authentic, classic appearance. We equipped her with a quiet electric engine, fully operated bar, a beautiful roof window and roll-up windows. She is the location for a cozy drink or an unique marriage proposal.

Kan niet anders zeggen dan fantastisch! hadden bij Rusland afgesproken en werd toch de zwanenburgwal, maar dat was 100 meter lopen. Vooral onze gastvrouw was subliem. Wist alles over de light festival kunstwerken en samen met de kaptein, brachten ons naar onze bestemming.. super vaar-tocht en professioneel. volgende keer zeker weer deze prachtige boot met prachtige mensen.

Beautiful boat, great staff. Mary and the Captain were great. Negative was there was no music although i was told i could connect via bluetooth to the boat before the day of the trip? Also the toilet didnt work for the first hour and a half, and no one seemed to know what to do about it. Then it just started working for the second half of the trip which was great, but yeah…

Absolutely wonderful! We had a very nice, comfortable trip - the captain was super forthcoming and dropped some nuggets of information once in a while - we had a great time and would book this boat again!
